Last week we’ve launched a new informational website for Dutch entrepreneurs: Uweigenwebsite.nu. The website provides information about company websites; why should you have a website? what can you do with it? etcetera.
I created the website in Photoshop, then continueing with valid XHTML/CSS. The headings make use of non-standard fonts through sIFR3.

My first creation with my new Wacom Bamboo, a hand drawn Kobe Bryant. I must say, it is actually harder than I thought to draw with this tablet. But nonetheless, it’s still a getting-used-to situation.

For ourselves we’re creating a new website. What it’ll feature, do and how it’s gonna work; we don’t know yet
It’s just a brainstorm concept which might be used in the (near) future.

Practice your Photoshop skills in your own damn time!
This one is featured on my website now, but I actually made this in 2005. It still suits for showing what you can do with Photoshop and how I improved skills! Most people think Photoshop is too hard; it can be hard, but never too hard. The source of this piece was a grayscale stockphoto (from Kitty-Stock @ deviantART).

An awareness campaign in the form of a magazine, with ads
While working as an internee at Concept7 I got the job to create multiple ads for their own magazine. This magazine was sent to all their clients.
I also created an advertisement for Concept7 for being sponsor of the basketball team MPC Capitals.

A large business website with over 1 million unique visitors p/month
This project took some time. I worked with another company who coded the site, while I did the design. The client got a new housestyle (by DRP) and along with that a new website. I also created a valid XHTML/CSS template for the coders to work with.

This is not an official concept; just being used as an example of “how it could look”
Our last internee wanted to do a complete project; designing, scripting and even some programming from scratch. Since we’re thinking of a new website, a redesign looked good. He started it all: sketches, ideas, brainstorms, etcetera. At final stage we had to make a good looking concept of all these ideas.
He wanted to learn how to design a website. So I designed a concept site with him sitting next to me, asking my ears of
Finally, he got a good look of how a good design could be set up and what a good design might be. In the meantime, I’ve renewed some design skills with this project. Result: both happy.

A complete redesign, reprogramming and expansion of the site; that’s what it is.
The websites features a shop, fully integrated with the reallife stock in the shop. Very useful and easy to update with a user friendly, accessable CMS.
Template coded in XHTML 1.0 (strict) and valid CSS2.0. I also used sIFR for non-standard fonts. The actual PHP programming for this one was done by a collegue.
